Hand, Arm, Heart Connection

The Offering

This modality was inspired by three of my clients who all use their hands and arms, who are all connected in different ways to creating, healing, nurturing and support. One a nurse, one a seamstress and one a manager of an accounting department who spends all day at her computer. All are beautiful women who are care givers and offer themselves in a very special way.

I set about to honour those three amazing women and to create an intensive treatment focussing on the love and giving centre of our bodies – our hearts.

I have found a significant need to create this modality where the upper body was a focal point and a concentrated treatment was devised around the thoracic, neck, shoulders, clavicle, arms and hands.

Physically, this area is where a lot of us in our modern-day world carry our stress and tension. Labouring the load, giving endlessly and holding the family, organisation, group or community together.

This treatment addresses the void within carers, nurturers and healers. The void where we sometimes misplace the need to fulfil our own needs for the sake of others. How often do we say, I don’t have time, I don’t have the money, I must give to my family, workplace, or organisation first?

Rose Oil is a significant and truly exquisite Essential Oil which has long been synonymous with acts of kindness and love and the exhibition of love and nurturing. The Australian Certified Organic Rose Oil that I use in this treatment has an earthy depth to its aroma.

This modality offers you a deep, intensive, and concentrated release of the upper body and arms, allowing you to release the strain, tension and restraint in these body parts. It also subtly connects you to the emotional aspect of this physical space within your body – connecting you back to your heart space where nurturing and love is birthed and incubates.

The Healing

  • Using a very specialised and unique blend of base oils
  • Certified Organic Avocado – high in nutrients – Vit A, E, Folate, B1, B2, K, D and Potassium
  • Certified Organic Jojoba – high in vitamins A, D, E and Omega 6 and 9 – it is the closest botanical match to our skin’s natural oil. It moisturises, soothes, and repairs.
  • Certified Organic Rosehip Oil: Rich in fatty acids and antioxidants which are an essential part of tissue and cell regeneration. Rosehip Oil is amazing for fine lines, reduction of scarring and wound healing.
  • These base oils are then blended with an exquisite Certified Organic Rose Oil as an essential oil to complete the blend. It is the first time I have blended base oils in any of my treatments for this particular purpose.
  • Soothing Rose Quartz crystals are used in this treatment to infuse love and healing through the muscle groups.

The Experience

This treatment has been created from the inspiration and feedback from my clients. It is uniquely presented to you by me as a gesture of love and appreciation. It is a concentrated treatment which allows time for self, a coming home. It welcomes healing, nurturing and heartfelt compassion through my ability to hold space for the individual. A modified version of this treatment is available for people who have nut allergies.

For clients with mobility restraints this treatment can be performed in my seated Massage Chair.
